OUR PHILOSOPHY!

WE WROTE THIS LAST YEAR BUT FEEL IT BEARS REPEATING AS IT EXPLAINS OUR PRODUCTS AND POLICIES: Our goal is to provide you with the purest products possible at the best prices we can. We realize that may mean some tough decisions on our part. We continue to use cans extensively when our competitors have gone to plastic. We know that cans preserve syrup better over long periods and in our mind you are buying a luxury product so you don't want it to spoil. We do not produce sugar in molds or pack it in fancy boxes. We feel the most important part of Maple sugar is the taste. We can deliver a smoother tasting product when we cool the sugar longer before beating it. The result is that we have a thicker product that cannot be poured into molds. Our competitors dilute their sugar with cane sugar to make it cheaper to make thus allowing the expensive packaging. We feel that the product quality comes first and we will do our best to keep the prices reasonable.

If you are not satisfied with any of our products, please call us; we will take them back at no charge. We will replace them or refund your money for the unused portions. PERIOD!

All our Maple Syrup is Grade A, however, within Grade A there are 3 official color designations: Light Amber, Medium Amber, and Dark Amber. In general, the darker the syrup the heavier and stronger the flavor. There is no difference in sugar content between the syrups (by law). Medium Amber is by far the most popular and is what we generally sell but we can provide Light or Dark Amber at no additional cost if you request it. There may be a few days delay on shipping these special orders should we need to specially pack your order.
